Scott is dedicated to providing the highest quality service and legal representation to clients in complex divorce, paternity, child custody, and other family law matters in litigation, in mediation, and in the collaborative divorce process. He is dedicated to helping people through what can be a very challenging and difficult period in their lives - the end of a marriage or relationship or a dispute with the other parent involving a minor child. Scott emphasize listening to their client's needs and objectives, and to being supportive, considerate, effective and efficient.

Scott is a trained Mediator, experienced trial attorney, and an active collaborative divorce attorney who trains other attorneys in the collaborative divorce process. Because most family law cases settle before trial, they place an early emphasis on seeking creative solutions to facilitate settlement. Where settlement is not immediately practical or possible, they know the options within the legal system to best help achieve the client's goals. Scott fosters relationships with mental health professionals who are available for additional support should a client need it.

Scott strives to exceed the client's expectations for quality legal representation and to quickly and professionally respond to each client's needs. They are both solution-oriented and results-oriented in their approach to each unique case. He is highly trained, highly focused, and because he limits his practice to exclusively Family Law matters, he is able to dedicate quality time and effort to each client and to each case. He is very experienced in complex custody and financial cases, especially cases involving closely held businesses.
