Clients are now demanding other solutions to resolve their legal disputes rather than litigation. These other processes help emotionally protect children in a divorce, offer client control of the process, offer creative solutions, and are very cost effective. For more than 28 years, Alan has been utilizing negotiation, mediation and collaborative law skills in help his clients reach productive win-win solutions. Alan has received specific training in mediation and collaborative law and has utilized these special skills to resolve difficult cases efficiently for clients.

Alan has served on County Advisory Boards in the areas of both Adult and Juvenile Corrections. He is a certified Guardian Ad Litem in Kansas as an advocate for children. He has served on the Johnson County Bar Juvenile Bench Committee and Guardian Ad Litem Advisory Committee to the District Court. Alan has served as a Board Member of Marillac, a Regional Children's Psychiatric Hospital. He provides local leadership that supports and encourages Foster and Adoptive parents. Working with State Legislators in 2006, he initiated anew adoption bill containing grandparent rights that passed both Houses unanimously. Each year he works with various parties to advocate legislative changes beneficial to neglected or abused children.

Alan has been married for 38 years and has 3 children. For years, Alan has coached youth soccer, baseball and loves serving children. He is a licensed youth, high school, and adult soccer referee.

Graduated from O'Fallon High School as an Illinois Presidential Scholar, after serving as Student Council President. Following graduation from graduate school with an M.A., Alan Rosenak attended Washburn School of Law in the State Capital, Topeka, Kansas, where he received his Juris Doctor with Dean's Honors.
